台灣入聯音樂創作欣賞會 王明哲彈唱敘鄉情

日前在美加巡演的台灣本土歌謠詞曲創作者王明哲，6日在法拉盛的紐約華僑文教服務中心帶來「台灣入聯音樂創作欣賞會」，和藝術工作者及台灣鄉親分享作品，唱響土地情和故鄉愛。
王明哲是屏東縣車城鄉人，擅長用台語抒寫社會鄉土關懷，有很多作品都被列入學生教材或合唱團曲目；6日他邊彈吉他邊演唱了「海洋國家」、「台灣」、「白蘭花」等創作歌曲，表示台灣人都非常熱情，應該善用民族特性，他就通過音樂這一重要的藝術角色，長期從事本土音樂創作，把社會鄉土關懷撒播出去。
王明哲說，此次北美巡演的最大意義，在於唱響土地情、故鄉愛，喚起海外僑胞在故鄉成長的情感，將大家聯繫在一起、繼續關懷台灣。
華僑文教中心主任黃正杰表示，王明哲不遠千里來北美巡演，演唱的許多經典曲目都是僑胞喜歡的作品，很高興有機會欣賞他的演出。
大紐約台灣人社區每年都會舉辦推動台灣加入聯合國的活動，今年除了14日(周五)在曼哈頓聯合國總部對面的哈瑪紹廣場(Dag Hammarskjold Plaza)造勢，台灣會館前理事長蔡明峰說，當晚台灣聯合國協進會還將於台灣會館舉辦感恩餐會，王明哲屆時也將在參會上分享台灣音樂的聲音。
